1923 SCADTA
January 1, 1923 SCADTA introduced 30 and 50 centavo postal stationery envelopes to facilitate mail from Germany that was to be flown within Colombia. Mail was inserted in these large envelopes and flown to the appropriate destination upon arrival in Barranquilla. Here is shown one of two recorded complete covers of the 50 centavo value (that paid up to 40g) with additonal franking of consulart overprints and German postage. It was mailed August 25, 1923 from Hamburg.
